Toxic Food Additives And Other Comments - Copyright 2006
This is a collection of my personally evolved thoughts with a mixture of observations, and my layman’s opinion from the past decade about food safety and quality of health in a changing world. Then too, I’m still learning and growing, and this article will keep growing. At the moment I’m just having fun writing down my personal views, budding thoughts and observations.
Please try to understand, I will not compromise my standards for any one to make this easy reading.
For your own longevity and health sake please do not use any chemically processed oils (interestingly 90% are). Be careful, this will even include some brands of olive, flax and coconut oils. Just as importantly, avoid any cheap synthetic man-made sweeteners like NutraSweet, Aspartame, Equal and Splenda, including the artificial chemical compound called “High Fructose corn syrup”. (Definitely not the same, and a huge difference from a bit of acceptable old fashioned corn syrup. Did you notice the cute play on words with the term “syrup”?) Most of all, please do not ever use a microwave oven when you’re preparing your meals. Today we see a national movement where food safety and health, coupled with quality and taste concerns is growing daily for the informed consumer who is capable of thinking outside the herd.
With the question of using fresh unsalted natural butter versus hydrogenated margarine, I will keep it short and bottom line it. Regardless of what the family mortician, your doctor or dentist, the FDA, the AMA, the USDA, the EPA, or even a loving caring spouse tells you, only an uninformed consumer (or a suicidal fool) uses margarine or any form of hydrogenated or chemically processed oils. Read the dang label before you buy anything. Have you ever read the label on Cool Whip or your favorite salad dressing?
My old favorite caution about synthetic sweeteners, like Aspartame, is that US Air Force pilots are barred from consuming drinks or food containing Aspartame/NutraSweet prior to flying because of the danger with seizures or blackouts and behavioral disorders occurring. Then in addition, diabetics have an increase in diabetes and insulin resistance when they consume it daily.
Aspartame/NutraSweet is a known neurotoxin, having many scientifically recognized hazardous side effects.
Digging deeper it was found that when “Splenda’s” first safety reports were submitted to FDA, seeking approval from the European developer, reports showed dangerous side effects for diabetics due to the high 75% chlorine content. Yet the FDA said no, not now, but told them to resubmitted the reports at a later date. Are we smiling? I’ll have to share this new accountability idea with my old math teacher.
My-view, yes we know excess white sugar is not good for you; however it appears that plain old white sugar is not nearly as dangerous as the artificial chemical sweeteners like Splenda, Equal or Aspartame. As you study this subject a key factor to watch for is the cost of chemical sweeteners.
Many scientists now include MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) in the same general class of toxicants or excitotoxins as Aspartame. The fun part about MSG, it is the most commonly used additive in foods in America today. The humorous side is that it’s used to create a special baby “Fat Rat” by injecting it with MSG at birth in laboratories that are conducting specialty research for obesity among humans. The real kicker with these cute Fat Rats had become highly addicted to foods laced with MSG, in very much the same manner humans do with cigarettes, or nicotine. These happy little MSG addicted “Fat” furry fellows were not only purposely made obese, but they quickly become hypertensive. One of the most abundant users of MSG worldwide is “Colonel Sanders Fried Chicken.” followed by all the Burger & Taco Boyz.
Did you notice how many fat people are coming out of these joints lately? Now let the games begin. I have found over 15 different creative names used by food manufacturers that purposely hide MSG on food labels. You see in that big picture there is truly “a means to all that madness.” On the other hand, before we all get too fat, I suggest we keep it uncomplicated. “Just follow the dollar.” Fact, and not hopeful dreaming, this truly is an accident that has already happened.
A simple cautionary note to the unaware majority, and an informed hint to an old Stock Trading friend-who has just earned our annual “Best Salsa-Maker of the Year” award: Microwaving food (like irradiated food treatment which is known to induce genetic toxicity) starts an unnatural and destructive molecular change not found in normal cooking, or even found in our food chain. We’re saying this creates corrupted food molecules our body does not recognize. Plus, this is coupled with total enzyme destruction after-only 30 seconds of exposure in an microwave oven.
In effect when you cook and eat microwaved food you’re eating nutrient dead food. You may as well be eating a cardboard box. Surprisingly, or not, a group of forward thinking veterinarians have tested meat cooked in a microwave oven that was being feed to dogs. Their study of the microwaved food found that even the bone’s molecular structure, as well as the meat, (the very same bones and meat found in human food) had within seconds been corrupted, and they strongly advised against the use of microwave ovens when feeding animals. I have an honest but simple inquiry. Are they saying microwaving is all right for kids, but bad for dogs?
Recently a friend and a long-standing aware health advocate sent me pictures showing where a young student had microwaved water, which was then tested in gardening. In a side-by-side test with untreated water, the microwaved water had caused the slow dilapidating death of young plants in just a few short weeks.
Interestingly, my friend has just replicated the same microwaved water test with plants and he stated the results are the same, or in part even more devastating. Just imagine the toxicity level if you’re using water that’s also fluorinated, chlorinated or chloramined. I am at a loss for words. Mercy.
To further my point, there was a civil court case where a nurse had warmed blood for a transfusion in a microwave oven and subsequently the patient died - from a lack of living blood. What ever your stance is, please be aware. It would “not be wise” to feed such unhealthy, unnatural, and poorly prepared food to your dog or cat, or even your children. Nevertheless, I do recognize it’s your personal call to make. And yes, I know your time is limited too. Just please spare your pets at the very least.
Off subject a bit, but an additional cautionary difference being it can take almost a full decade for cell phones and many other EMF wave electronic toys to initiate brain cancer and numerous other brain disorders like teen age autism.
Since we are making “informed health statements” there is one more thing. Farm fresh or natural eggs are actually very good for you, even one, or two a day, and yes even when fried in natural organic coconut or cold pressed olive oil; even natural butter. While most packaged breakfast cereals and hydrogenated dried eggs or egg substitutes are “definitely not.” Smile, I just had to make your day.
Hey, this is fun. Allow me to take one more shot at your day. Once upon a time, a fellow shiitake mushroom research friend of mine (involved in a cancer research project being conducted at Chapel Hill, NC, about 20 years ago) was using processed breakfast cereals like Cheerios as a food test subject. Test animals were fed traditional mice feed, shredded Cheerios boxes, and Cheerios, using three groups of Dutch rats. Guess which group died first, from eating what? (Clue; it was not the eaters of shredded Cheerios boxes or traditional mice feed.) Smile. One more fun story: a favorite research narrative I’ve read was about feeding rats a diet of commercial plain white bread and buns. The test rats literally died of malnutrition. Think a bit deeper. Do you realize we now have a completely new generation of children who do not, nor will, ever know what natural whole bread, or pasta, even tastes like? Folks, is that ill, or sad gross neglect?
There is another chief food and health factor that is emerging and has started to cause major concern among aware consumers and Scientist worldwide. It is the use of GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) foods. The jury is still out on this one, but keep your eyes and ears open. A few of the major crops they are attempting to modify using GMO to date include soybeans, corn, cotton, canola and rice. Initial results have reported side effects are not favorable at all, and in fact they are becoming downright spooky.
The first of many reported questionable concerns that grabbed my personal attention was when animals were given the choice of grains for food they always chose the natural variety rather than the GMO version. Now I have to ask a no brainier: “What do the animals know-that we do not?” Another issue that is most obvious is the untold number of developing heath problems and safety questions leaking out world wide by workers in GMO growing fields. Why are these legitimate concerns being white-washed by the news media or totally ignored? This media reporting neglect has got to raise the neck-fur on even the most brain-dead possum hunter.
The next point of personal interest I observed was that genetically modified corn plants were killing butterflies. I do not think I want to put something in my tummy that kills little butterflies. Few consumers know that country after country has been rejecting GMO crop shipments from the US. Another giant to enter the GMO race is Bayer Corp of Germany, who have developed several GMO strains of rice. They recently had a political flap when it was discovered their GMO rice had gotten into the wild, or open fields, in America about 5 years ago, with out FDA approval or control. It was claimed to be just an accident. Some of the original GMO accidents date back to the 80’s, and we have no idea what the outcome will be. We have to wonder just how much contaminated rice is now floating around in the rice fields and market places in America. I do know that GMO rice is flat-out rejected by the Japanese. One can not but wonder what their scientists may know that no one is telling us.
The second of seven interesting accidents we are aware of just occurred at a research and testing facility in Corvallis, Oregon. Nine case of creeping genetically modified bentgrass, commonly grown on golf courses, was found several miles away by the FDA. Two things about this grass: first, it’s a perennial rather than an annual like most GMO seed, and second, it has already been found cross-breeding with other native grasses that are cousins.
This has in essence created a “super weed”. Being a perennial it can now regrow each year without reseeding, and we have no idea what this new GM grass seed will do in the wild. Another “surprise” you need to know: when farmers are using GMO seeds their actual crop production is down. But foremost, nutritional content of these crops is down. Let me rock your sleepy foundation a bit. For a company to have their GMO seed declared safe for marketing they need only tell the USDA it’s safe after limited internal testing, and the USDA say’s OK, go for it. Strange, or scary, the USDA does no internal controlled testing of GMO plants themselves.
We found one more attention getting goodie that just may put the fear into you. It sure rattled our cage. The following was recently published by Globalresearch.ca:

This terminator corporate merger was originally started 7 years ago, but political pressure world-wide had halted it until now. There is even a newer generation being developed now referred to as the “Traitor”. Where do you think corporate America is heading with all this manipulation of seeds and food? As consumers do we really want to go there? Simply follow the dollar on this one and most of your inquiring questions will be answered.
(That’s right, it’s the good old Roundup Boyz who told you Roundup would dissipate and become harmless after a rain in about 3 days. Guess what? I have personal first-hand information that the US Forest service took soil samples after 15 years, a test that was conducted in Asheville NC, and found Roundup was still an active herbicide more than 30 feet down after 15 years. I have a strong-personal hunch Almighty God does not want us going here with GMO’s.
Have we so quickly forgotten the tomato and potato GMO safety flap a few years back? Do you remember the GMO cotton total fiasco last year in India? How about the GMO Soy-Sauce total recall from all over Asia? Do you recall the pig incident where they quit reproducing after eating GMO corn? Friends, look at the numbers. Even with all these projects after all these years there has not been one safe success story that I am aware of. Are you, too, starting to smell a skunk in the woodpile here some how?
Please Quote me; I am deeply concerned about GMO’s, alarmed or frightened would be more accurately stated, because I personally know we do not have adequate knowledge, experience, or even the crucial scientific technology base to fully understand the long term effects it will have on each of us personally, and more so the side effects that will impact our environment. Now let me share a little more of my growing alarm with you. There have been more that 60 different documented individual health issues directly linked to or caused by GMO plants. This is compounded even further by the fact that 80% of all processed foods now have GMO ingredients. Kind of like having your choice of 60 different kinds of colds all at once, depending on which box of cereal you ate out of that day. If your fur is not standing by now then let me add one more thing to ruffle it. There is no GMO labeling requirement.
It is no overstatement concerning GMO’s when I simply say we are just young children playing with matches; better yet just like kids teasing a cute baby copperhead snake. I’m dead serious when I state we have gone over the line. . It now appears the emerging food “nanoparticle” industry has the potential of dwarfing even the GMO dangers, based on new research from concerned molecular scientists. This is God’s realm not man’s. We are not talking about an airplane engine or splitting an atom, we are talking about the very core of living – about life itself. After reading the original version of this booklet a friend directed me to the Old Testament, Deuteronomy 22.9. To say the least it grabbed my attention, as it should yours too.

When you study the numbers and follow the dollars the very first thing you will notice is that GMO crops will actually cause world-wide hunger.
Cautionary soy message: Before I get started let me state I am well aware many may disagree with me on the points outlined below, but I stand fast by my opinion. Past the genetically modified soybean factor, there is another element I feel it prudent to mention. For more than 10 years I have personally tried to avoid all soybean products, unless they have been properly or traditionally “fermented” and aged - like the sauces Tamari, Nama, or sweet Miso and Natto are. Tofu is not. That’s right, Tofu is not safe because it has not been fermented. Additionally to the soy subject, I also avoid canola/rapeseed anything for safety & health reasons. It’s commonly understood by informed heart & stroke patients to avoid all canola oils because of a toxic element it contains.
Advancing research is now showing that for more than 30 years soybean and soybean oil use and safety was not what many may have thought it was made out to be. We need to look at this from a historical perspective. Prior to World War II the soybean had never been consumed by the masses in the Far East for thousands of years unless the soybean had first been properly fermented and aged. Interestingly, there is one segment of their society that did consume green or non-fermented soybeans, and that was the Buddhist Monk class.
Folks I have another no-brainer question or two, Did the ancient ones know something we do not, or why then and why now? What ever your take on soybeans is, please be aware that some very credible sources are now asking some very serious heath questions. For example, current research from Russia found baby rats from mothers on GMO-soy diets were under weight by 2/3rd, and died twice as soon as babies from non-soy fed mothers.
Israel (and soon France) requires a warning label on ALL soy products for expecting mothers and babies. That’s right, it is absolutely not a health-product. In fact health labels on soy are a distorted lie. Several simple examples are that un-fermented soy is a major contributor to colon cancer, causes thyroid damage, being a major hormone and SLEEP disrupter (much like cell phones are. Trust me, cell phones do this).
Note too, when organic (non-GM), a soybean that’s properly fermented does have some excellent health benefits, like very strong antioxidant values, and improved blood flow. We feel an additional courteous caution should be extended to the vegetarian soy-burger eating friends of T-bone steak eating Alpha-Carnivores in that it has become almost impossible to find pre-packaged veggie-foods that have soy fillers that have not been purposely laced with MSG, while 80% will come from GMO plants. Mercy!
Furthermore, standard chemical testing of organic-labeled soybeans has found an average of 60% of it was not even organic as labeled. Few know 99% of all soy-milk has some type of sugar added to it. Then too, remember 90% was made from GMO products. In addition to soy, the lacing of other foods with toxic MSG and GMO’s is spreading like cancer in the food industry, from jell-o to broth, soups and salad dressing. For myself I find that curious if not suspect. However, what’s life without humor? A fun but factual illustration: the average vegetarian, by the numbers, will not live as long as an average but “moderate” meat eater will. One could say “often truth is hard to see by many when it’s on the tip of their nose”.
Please, if we may. Get past your TV, pizza, and six pack. Do a little due-diligence, or old fashioned basic research concerning soybeans, emerging genetically modified foods, the long standing rat poison, fluoride, found in city water that actually causes dental problems (coupled with T-cell damage accompanied by brain and serious bone degeneration). This is just the start of the fluoride caution list.
A most interesting subject to be aware of is raw, living cider and wine vinegar, which have astonishing health properties. Learn about the difference between processed white lifeless rice and the amazing values of natural brown rice, cooked with homemade chicken stock. Remember, water is for bathing not cooking.
Discover what whole or real sea-salt is (some now make a processed variety, so be careful). Study whole natural sweeteners like raw honey and real maple syrup. An important one to learn about, and one we think is the worlds biggest con - cholesterol reducing statin prescription drugs.” Past that, there are the dangerous synthesized sweeteners like Aspartame/NutraSweet, and Splenda. Then there’s the artery plugging, often deadly, hydrogenated oils or foods.
One of my favorite subjects is safe, healthy cooking oils that your body needs daily, like coconut, olive and flax oils, versus unsafe or dangerous man-made or manipulated oils like canola, soybean, margarine, artificial or mixed butter spreads, and all other commonly used vegetable oils; and last but not least is our old friend Crisco, generally used in mom’s apple pie. That’s right, all Crisco now sold is hydrogenated, meaning that it’s loaded with fatal trans-fatty acids.
Sorry folks, not all oils are created equal. A little teaser: researchers now find the most popular processed vegetable cooking oils are contributing to macular degeneration AND diabetes, which is in addition to plugging all your arteries. The big spooky we found was that when vegetable oils are hydrogenated it creates a molecular reaction that is not found in the human food chain, and your body tries to reject it as noxious. What researchers and a little common sense are now saying is that the old pig lard or bear fat your great granny kept under the sink was safer to eat than today’s processed and hydrogenated oils. A simple observation: man has finally outsmarted himself. How many more people need to die before these oils are removed from the market place?
Another teaser: I found historically any credible researcher, some were Nobel nominees, who tried to sound the alarm about how dangerous processed oils were, some even stating they are not compatible with the human body, has been politically, socially and individually censored and made to look like a fool. I know your smiling, I sure did. Note: that same fear pattern is now following GMO whistle blowers.
Use only natural unrefined air-dried whole sea-salt, or selective mined organic whole salt, which is never heat processed and has no additives such as the sand found in common table salt. More significantly, your body actually needs natural sea-salt “daily”, but notably it will not affect your blood pressure in the manner that many a doctor, or concerned spouse, or even a best friend may suggest. There is a difference between common table salt that’s industrial grade de-mineralized bleached sodium chloride, processed at 1200 degrees, and only leaves 2 minerals.
Real sea-salt has been slowly air-dried and contains all its natural elements; a big difference. Sea-salt has more than 80 natural occurring minerals and trace elements that your body desperately needs to function properly. Your body will react to common table salt in a negative manner, and most assuredly I would not be consuming it. Additionally, French and British chefs have long used it, readily recognizing there is a distinct taste difference between the natural and the dead processed variety. The value of whole Salt is not a minor issue, for in year’s long-past natural whole salt was considered more valuable than gold; or as Plato said, “Salt was dear to the gods.”
The dollar trail will show that common table salt use today is the by-product from commercial processing needed by Industry for manufacturing. Ninety percent (90%) of the sodium chloride, vacuum-refined, processed salt today is used by manufacturers, while only 10% is used as food in the home and restaurants. In other words, what many call salt is not food at all, but rather is the commercial by-product from sodium chloride processing, which only tastes salty. As I mentioned your body treats this processed product in a totally different manner than it will unprocessed natural sea-salt. A salt teaser: the heart related death rate for low or non-sodium users is higher than for whole or natural salt users. Look at the numbers. The main kicker is, and one you must always remember, the industrial refining process removes all traces of magnesium, purposely.
Now for another teaser: the little old mineral called magnesium is required to be present for over 325 essential enzyme actions our body must have to function properly. Yes, I’m saying those enzyme actions were not put there for decoration. That’s why they are called essential. I just know you’re going to ask why they go to all the trouble to remove it. Smile, they get much more money for the magnesium than they do for the salt.
Remember, most vegetables are already mineral starved due to poor soil fertility. Also note that because sea-salt has no alumino-silicate added to it like common table salt does, it can never create the body water retention problem called “edema”, like bleached table salt with silicate will. The big picture conflict: salt, sodium, should be found in every living cell in your body naturally. A bit of caution from a laymen’s view, magnesium starved salt and water are well known major contributing factors to an untimely death in this country.
Most significant is the subject of “Water” just plain God-given clean water! You had best get ahead of the herd and get seriously concerned and obtain a working knowledge about chemical free non-toxic, basic, but vital, cooking and drinking water using a distiller or a high quality charcoal submicron filter system. My call is that not only in this country but world wide we have now gone way past becoming an accident waiting to happen.
An interesting example of hand writing on the wall: a few weeks back the government of India banned the placement of Coca-Cola machines in government buildings because the water used in making Coke was found to contain 25 times higher levels of pesticides than are allowed by their federal law. Water can and should be looked at in another way. Water is one of our body’s most vitally needed nutrients.
I am told that after independent testing, water used by many hospitals is even suspect. This suggests the safe water problem goes even deeper than many, including my self, had originally thought. If you’re getting a little sleepy reading my water warning let me add there is another little kid on the water block that is called “chloramine”, used by many states as a primary disinfectant for city water systems. A bit different than chlorine, it is ammonia mixed with chlorine.
I have several serious concerns with cities using this. First, is unaware travelers, but foremost it’s a genotoxin and a mutagenic without an antidote. Freaky or not, this means it causes DNA destruction and tissue mutations. What we are saying here is it can not be boiled out of water and will readily kill your pet fish. Or, if you have a bad kidney, and 20 million Americans do, the kidney will not be able to filter it out of the water you drink.
Chloramine can and has killed kidney patients very quickly. It disrupts your bodies PH balance and will interact with certain medicines like antidepressants. I’m not finished with my brief overview. It is also causing major pipe deterioration that releases lead and other toxins back into the water from aging city water pipes. This type of chemical (just like Agent Orange did) causes strange rashes and metabolic disorders for people with undiagnosed symptoms. As an example, how many times have you heard people say; “They do not know what caused it?” Do you know if chloramine or fluoride is in your store-bought bottled water? That’s right, there’s no labeling requirement for them.
A note for the leisurely learner: we will only test for 15 of the 125 plus known toxicants commonly found in city drinking water nation wide. That is correct; no water source is considered safe, world-wide. A shining pragmatic example is that even polar bears are now suffering from the side-effects of mercury and lead contamination found in Artic waters.
There is another aspect for your consideration, when we store water, as many do nowadays, the water purifier we use for long-term storage is grapefruit seed oil extract, rather than using traditional Clorox or bleach that’s recommended by the powers to be. Clorox or chlorine treated water is very toxic to the human body, and destroys a vital major antioxidant, Vitamin E, as well as the healthy flora in your gut.
(Off subject a bit, but you need too know that Vitamin E with C with selenium and zinc are among your body’s most valuable antioxidants, regardless of what disinformation you’re fed through the media or hear nowadays. However, be cautious. They must be from a natural whole source rather than a synthetic form. As an example of their many benefits, high doses of E & C vitamins 45 minutes prior to a heavy meal like Thanksgiving dinner will allow your vessels to expand an additional 17%, and may well save you from a heart attack if your arteries are already partially plugged).
A little bonus idea: we also use the organic Grapefruit Seed Oil extract from “NutriBiotic” for small nicks-and-cuts, and fishhook bites, or tick & flea bites. It even kills candida infections 101%. (It works much the same as some of our other old favorites; like DMSO as a topical agent made from tree bark. It’s a premium pain and itch killer, and the finest sprain and bone fixer I have ever seen. A few others like Horopito oil from the pepper tree, the newly patented topical super-silver solutions at 10ppm, or the amazing ability of Calcium Bentonite clay to absorb any toxicants, both external & internal. It is used with fluoride-free toothpaste as a gum cleaner; it will virtually eliminate bleeding gums when used with C0-Q-10. Speaking of gums, plain banking soda and magnesium chloride oil are great teeth and gum aids. In fact I have never found anything in a drug store that can match these safe, healthy items.)
Families will put a few drops of grapefruit seed oil into their kid’s and dog’s shampoo to keep little crawling critters out of hair. Trust me-it works. We found grapefruit seed oil does a great job on food cutting boards or any surface that needs deep cleaning. Grapefruit seed oil is a very safe, non-toxic broad-based antiseptic that was discovered by the Mayan Indians 2000 years ago. They used it to protect themselves against salmonella poisoning and diarrhea caused by questionable water or food, like funny smelling fresh chicken or fresh veggies in strange lands. Quote me, grapefruit seed oil extract is a must have for any traveler.
Since the 1940’s fluoride has been scientifically proven to cause brain damage and reduce the IQ of children, as well as you and me. The Germans used fluoride in their water systems at detention centers during World War II to help keep the populace tranquil. No, I’m not kidding. Humor: “Prozac” contains a component that’s derived from fluoride. Several years ago we read an article where a European Scientist stated to an American Scientist, “Why in the world would you want to put fluoride in your drinking water?” We personally think he said it all, a beautiful one-liner. Yes I agree. Why would we add fluoride? For stopping tooth decay! That’s a mass media distortion. Want a no-brainer example: Vancouver BC uses no fluoride, but Toronto does, tooth decay difference “0”.
I’m not done. Fluoride causes both tooth and bone decay. Furthermore, it seriously encourages bone cancer, and causes thyroid damage to children. There is more yet. The white spots (Fluorosis) you see on the teeth of children are caused by fluoride poisoning. Need I say any more? We have now been informed the Chinese government has begun to totally rejecting the future use of fluoride in water. When asked why the Chinese firmly stated it will destroy a child’s mind. In years past the Chinese had used fluoride as means of birth control because it causes infertility. Hey, it works, ask any horse breeder! Question: are we on the same page?
Let me inject an old fashion bottom liner at this point. The 7,000 employees of the US Environmental Protection Agency union have petitioned the EPA to stop water fluoridation, simply because it is not safe. A final point: beside being bad tasting my biggest problem with chlorinated water is that it destroys the health flora in your gut, (I will speak more about that below concerning the essential probiotics.) thus compromising your immune system and setting you and yours up for any illness, more so with the flu or colds and cancer. Common home filters like Brita and Pur will not remove theses hazards chemicals. The vast majority of the world's countries have outlawed fluoridation, decades ago; now the European Union punishes fluoridation by imprisonment. Did I tell you that fluoride is more toxic than lead? This means that lead based toothpaste is safer than a fluoride based toothpaste. Yes, I understand some city water may taste OK, but once you get past the taste then what happens? As I have warmly suggested, by now if you can count above two, you’re quickly learning respect for your “Drinking Water”.
Almost as vital: be very careful when choosing water storage containers. Glass and ceramic will always the first choice as 8 out of 10 of all plastic food and water containers have been found unsafe to be used for either water or food. This rule most assuredly includes your baby bottles, and your pet’s food and water bowls. One day I will tell you about chili served in styrofoam bowls at church dinners.
While you’re drinking a glass of water lets look at few other items for proper health, and not just meager existence. I feel very strongly one should obtain an above average working knowledge about minerals & trace-mineral elements. They are foremost, as nothing happens in your body without them, absolutely nothing. Learn the true meaning of the phrase “Whole Foods” and then “Whole Nutrients”. Also at top of the list is what enzymes do for your body and why they are so vital. You see, in my minds eye the individual vitamin is near the bottom of my priority list for nutrient familiarly.
Look at it this way, minerals are the foundation you must first build for enzymes, then vitamins, to work properly. I was not surprised to learn that our bodies will actually move minerals from one area of our body to another in an emergency. A good example of this is the body’s ability of internal movement with calcium or even water molecules when needed. Your elevator does not have to go all the way to the top to see the human body is truly an amazing work of art from our Creator.
Right, and some still say we are descendants of monkeys. Trust me, only true descendants of monkeys will believe that comical version about “Evolution of life”. They so arrogantly teach this unsupported mindless rhetoric in school, and its so sad, even criminal, to mislead young minds. And, our schools will also feed a kid mind-altering noxious margarine sandwiches and NutraSweet/Aspartame sodas in a heart beat. Don’t you think there is something wrong with this current picture for our children? This may in part explain the growing popularity of Home-Schooling.
In addition, an active working knowledge of herbs, spices, essential-oils, and the newer neutraceuticals is highly recommended as an alternative to pharmaceutical drugs. Believe me, they are available and much safer and less stressful on your body, while rarely toxic. Yet “ALL” pharmaceutical drugs are toxic! Yes, I said “all”. This rule applies for your pets too.
It’s common knowledge that there are more than a quarter of a million pharmaceutical poisoning deaths per year. An additional half million more are dying from indirect consequences of pharmaceutical drug usage. However, with their known toxic side effects (and not being a legal or a medical expert) I have to ask, is this an acceptable or legal form of man-slaughter? Or is it just old fashioned population control coupled with dollar growth for just a few.
One of my major concerns with prescription drugs is that 95%, if not “all” mess with your live. That is one little fellow you had better have a lot of respect for. In a heart beat it can make you happy or make you wish you were dead, if you haven’t died already. I recall a classic story. Margaret (MiMi) every so wisely once suggested to her doctor, “Why trade one problem for another by taking something that will damage my liver?” She is right. Damaging your liver will in turn dangerously reduce its vital body waste removal capacity.
Folks this is just one of its many essential life giving functions. Current medical advice is often totally illogical, it does not compute in the real world. There are other ways. In some more advanced medical cultures the very first thing the doctor will do is look into your liver’s condition when you are ill. Yet in our medical culture the first thing they want you to do is pee in a cup. The last time my doctor’s nurse handed me a cup saying she needed a urine sample I told her I did not come here to urinate, I came here to chat with the Doctor. The next time she does that to me I’m going to put a little Chardonnay in her little cup and wait for the games to begin. Hey, like I said before, what’s life without humor?
There is another item I always keep in mind when my doctor suggests a new pharmaceutical drug. The FDA does not consider them as safe until they have been in the field a minimum of 5 years without causing an inordinate number of deaths or injuries. Do you think they are saying if you don’t die its pure experimental luck? I guess I’m just getting too old to be a sheeple guinea pig. My-way, I have the highest respect for drugs with their well known side-effects, and avoid them except during an emergency. I do know in certain cases they can be life-savers. However, my most “respectful fear” of them has motivated me to seriously study the art of healing herbs, enzymes, and other natural or non-intrusive remedies. This motivation was stirred in part when I learned that if you take just 3 prescriptions drugs you create a 4th unknown toxic side-effect in your body. If there is any humor here it’s that whole natural foods rank about number one above any doctor’s pill from my view. Again this is a personal call that only you can make, but please, you should do it only after a bit of due-diligence and do not make a blind decision from fear. It may be your last.
You may have guessed by now, even after all my personal heart problems, “I don’t do drugs, pharmaceutical or other wise.” However, I have been to a few funerals of those who did, and had the same health problems as I had, but had not changed their eating habits. On the other hand, maybe it’s just luck. I’m still here, having chosen whole foods and herbs over pills. Or maybe I just did not get all the good drugs advertised today that I should have. Did you notice pharmaceutical drug ads are illegal to display on TV in Europe because they mislead the average consumer suggestively hinting they are safe?
Here is a fun example of why they spend more money advertising their drugs than some nations spend on their entire countries annual budget. With Pharma’s army of 7,000 lobbyists and the advent of TV ads, the average cost of drugs has risen 500%. Some can cost 20 times more here than in many foreign countries. For example, let’s start with Prevacid. It costs $1.00 to make, but sells for $44.00, which is about a 34,000% percent profit. The humor is the killer side-effects from taking it are free.
Just one more for kicks: Prilosec heartburn medication cost $0.52 to make, but they sell it to you for $360.00, if your dumb enough to buy it giving them a 69,000% percent profit, go ahead. It would take two pages to explain the not so healthy side-effects. Prozac sells for $247.00 but costs only $0.11 cents to make. You’re right, that is a 224,000% percent profit. As to side-effects, well they’re free and numerous. Becoming suicidal is a common one. And this is accompanied by pharmaceutical addiction with symptoms similar to Heroin addiction withdrawal. Point made. Real world humor you want to remember: when was the last time you walked out of a doctor’s office without a prescription? Right, that was the day your frogs started flying. Look at it another way; sure you have to die of something, but does it have to be stupidity? Sure you have to eat something; maybe dirt is safer nowadays - unless you grow it yourself.
No I have not joined a crusade, I take it all in stride. Just look at the numbers. I’m not the only one concerned about drugs and their dangerous side effects as there have been over 65,000 product liability lawsuits filed against drug companies since 2000. It’s no surprise the volume of these lawsuits is growing daily. A statement of fact, pharmaceuticals cannot and do not heal anything. Would I lie to you?
The other topic that overlaps to the above is the ancient subject matter of “Probiotics”. That is a $10 word for old fashioned but properly made lacto-fermented pickles or sauerkraut (most any vegetables can be used) that has not been processed and pasteurized. Sound simple? It sure is, but as vital to your overall health as minerals are. This is an ancient food preservation technique that can be found in one form or the other in every society, past or present, on earth.
One simply ferments a few fresh raw vegetables (preferably organic), from a few days to a week or so, in a closed crock or jar using pure water (not tap water), sea-salt as the starter with whey (the milky liquid found in foods like organic yogurt) and your vegetable of choice. The key is that they are never canned in the modern form, as this heat processing method kills the life-giving properties that are fundamental to your body’s needs. Primarily, fermented vegetables have a catalyst effect on the digestion and subsequent body absorption of minerals and nutrients that is utterly amazing. Their main health benefit is that they actively keep your lower gut populated with healthy bacteria that destroys any excessive bad bacteria that might cause a disease. A pinch of Azomite minerals added to this process is certainly beneficial.
Any type of probiotics food item, like organic yogurt or lacto-fermented pickle, is an absolute must have whole food when you’re taking any type of “anti-biotic” (thus the name “pro-biotic”). A humorous clue: My old dog recently had an operation and her vet-doctor had the good sense to give her probiotics after the surgery. Does your family doctor do this for you and your children when they’re giving you an antibiotic or after surgery? Silly question, of course they do.
We feel it’s imperative to always add fresh cut garlic cloves and green-onions, allspice, ginger root, then dried or fresh red peppers to taste, (with fresh lemon or lime juice if available), and then add our old favorite natural healing Celtic sea salt. It only takes 30 minutes to make a few jars each week, so humor me just once and make a batch using your favorite fresh raw vegetable, with garlic, herbs and spices of your choice. Mix or match. In time you will find your own favorite flavors.
This fermenting method produces some of the best dang pickles you will have eaten in your life, I promise. Since this is one of the simplest but tastiest forms to keep your immune system at its highest peak, this can become a fun hobby. We make ours in an old fashion German clay crock (Harsch) or occasionally in glass quart jars. You really should use organic vegetables if you can. A bit of caution is in order, a lack of this awareness can cause a secondary but dangerous side effect. To be deficient in required probiotics in your system is considered by researchers to be the major reason people who have just had surgery or have been taking antibiotics (that also killed the body’s probiotics) and left a hospital end up picking up a secondary disease a few days later, or that they carried with them from the hospital. And yes, some even die from these secondary infections.
Bottom line: Healthy flora feeding on probiotics in your lower gut is your body’s first and foremost line of defense against any disease known to man, including the Bird-Flu. Smile, it works even better than a Tamiflu shot (now shown not to work at all). Fermented cucumbers were always eaten with meat and sausages by ancient societies as a way to curtail or totally stop the formation of kidney stones since it will help the body to eliminate the cause, excessive uric acid. Homemade lacto-fermented vegetables are still a common item eaten daily by many European and Asian families. They are much less acid than those commercially made with vinegar. Rarely does one grow tired of them. For untold decades these types of lacto-fermented vegetables were recommended by European & Asian doctors for medicinal purposes when one was having stomach or colon problems. Again, humor me, and try making a batch made with your favorite vegetable, just once.
Speaking of flu, I have never seen a flu strain that could not be nipped in the bud by simply taking 50,000 units of Vitamin D3 twice a day for 3 days, with a hand full of the newer allicin (garlic) products, trade marked as “Garli-Eze”, in the 500 mg size capsules. Surprise bonus information: a researcher from England found vitamin D3 at this level will stop infections from the newer strains of TB. My humbled observation and personal call is that this combination will kill lime disease, anthrax, or any old bird-flu, and so many other diseases too plentiful to mention “in a heart beat”.
A prolific health information researcher, Bill Sardi, recently told me that he personally felt a daily maintenance dose of 5000 units of vitamin D3 will most often inhibit the formation of colds or any flu, and surprisingly many types of “CANCER”, too. After a few of my personal observations I have to agree, even though the FDA says that amounts of more than 400 units a day are toxic. Right, them dang frogs are at it again. Bill gives us a humorous example of flying frogs. If you were to sit in the sun for about an hour or more with the top half of your body exposed it will generate 10-20,000 units of vitamin D per day. There is one undisputable historical fact. There has never been a shot from your doctor that can do this. However, we are not sure, but it’s possible that if a flu strain was purposely mutated, that is militarized, nothing may work to stop it except “self-isolation”.
Although, be confident you will surely catch the flu if you visit the local hospital/clinic or an emergency line for a flu shot. Oh yes, don’t forget the little extra bit of mercury and aluminum that comes free with each flu shot, and all the other extra toxic side-effects also that are totally free of charge. (Oh, that’s right, most of you have to PAY for your flu shots now from the “public health department”. Doesn’t their generosity just grab you by the heart?
Startling in a minor way by 2007, I personally discovered that raw vegetables with a high Brix rating (a quality rating method for garden produce) will produce a vastly superior fermented ProBiotic. They actually taste like a real vegetable product, superior even to those vegetables and herbs produced by using the USDA Certificated Organic cultivation methods. They are similar in some ways, but are better tasting primarily due to the higher level of minerals & micronutrients that the Brix cultivation method requires.
But foremost is the fact that synthetic soil additives cannot be used as they will kill the microbes the soil requires to produce food that is complete with all the required minerals needed by our bodies. Since 2005 the USDA Certified Organic program allows synthetic chemicals to be used in organic farming. This is more a question of using common sense than being an organic purest. It’s simple to understand. If your food is not healthy, you’re not healthy. We further discovered that no high Brix rated commercial pre-packaged organic fermented product was available in the US. This old Brix cultivation method, beyond today’s dangerously diluted certified organic standards, originates from the late 1800’s to the 1930’s.
Going even further than Brix or Organics, we walk the talk by adding Azomite minerals and Vermiculture (red-worm castings) to our gardens with a dash of vital soil microbes and now call it, “Certified My Way”.
Speaking of hobbies, we started an interesting one in 2000 - old fashioned homemade bread making. You have bread, and then you have whole bread. Over the years we have evolved a view that many share nowadays. The stuff called bread you get in a grocery store is on a level of edible plastic. It’s totally lifeless white or brown trash that is nothing more than a dangerous chemical compound.
I can hear it now. You’re saying well I only buy whole wheat. Read the label! It will say wheat flour. Sorry, that is not real whole wheat. Plus, the label will say hydrogenated oils, several types of sugars, dangerous chemical preservatives, etc. That little old factory bread maker is way a head of you. He has given you visual products that look healthier until you read the small print on the label. There are sources where you can obtain natural whole bread, but rarely will you find it in a local grocery store. Natural bread, the kind spoken of in The Bible, most often must be made in your home.
My-way, after grinding or milling chemical free, slightly alkaline, fresh Montana Prairie-wheat grain, mixed with Spelt berries, a pinch of brown Jasmine rice, with the addition of organic gluten, and freshly ground flax seed, we then add a tablespoon of natural gray sea salt, a tablespoon full of local raw honey, then I add a splash of Azomite minerals with our own homemade sourdough starter or SAF yeast, a tich of Red (cayenne), with a mix of organic butter & coconut oil. But primarily we use highly filtered clean drinking water (we use no toxic GMO soy lecithin or synthetic ascorbic acid that many often use to help retain freshness). After sponging then two risings and baking out comes the biggest, fluffy fullest, tastiest sweet warm bread you have ever eaten in your life. It’s truly a gourmet’s delight. Now let me rock your chair. Natural whole bread, like whole brown rice, is no-way near as fattening as the bleached synthetic white stuff is. Since before the age of Alexander the Great man has written over and over again stating that natural whole bread is a very special life-giving food.
There is one certainty about natural whole bread that is beyond debate or judgment, it is one of the oldest know and most nutritionally complete (90%), healthiest foods God has given to man.
However, then along came man’s modern bread making wisdom trying to compete with the natural way, as spoken of in The Bible. Do you seriously think the lour and bread maker’s interests are always in your best interest? Right, when frogs fly. Take note, when we read biblical references to “Bread” I seriously doubt they were placed there for our entertainment, but rather they were put in The Bible for our enlightenment and well-being. I’m also saying that Honey-Buns and Twinkies are not mentioned in The Bible, but whole complete natural bread is!
Trust me, if I can make bread so can any one from ages 8 to 80. I am not sure what the nutrient level is, but be assured it’s in the top 5% percent of foods good or healthy for you. No, I do use a bread machine. I do use a Bosh mixer for mixing, then kneading. It is baked the old fashion way in a bread pan and in an oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
However, there is one catch to bread making; you will have to sit there with a stick to keep others from it until it cools. There is a passing thought of concern about the uncontrolled growing number of diabetics. They can safely eat homemade whole natural bread, while the white stuff some call bread or rolls and cakes may well do you in, whether you’re diabetic or not. Why ride second-hand throughout your life eating the cheap white plastic stuff, when you could be eating clean natural gourmet whole bread?
A statement of my hard learned observations: we are many decades, if not a hundred years or so away from learning the total picture of just how the body works. Yes, we know many things, but not nearly what we need to know. A hint about these observations, have you noticed the further away we get from whole or natural foods the more our body starts to degenerate. You may have also noticed that chemically tainted or synthetic foods, coupled with synthetic chemical farming, are rearing their ugly heads. The numbers show we’re loosing health values in a big way.
Look at the numbers again, have you noticed how fast and large the medical and drug industry has grown the last few years. If we are so dang smart and think we know so much, then why have he health numbers been declining instead of growing. Then too, I’m not saying we have to beat the horse until the whip breaks but we need to start looking a little deeper than our TV programs.
This probably explains why the organic labeled food industry is growing by leap and bounds. This growth has been noticed by Big Food manufacturers as well, and they have now started an active program with the USDA to reduce the traditional organic standards established by organic farmers themselves by as much as 75% - so they then can use the USDA Organic Label but then sell you a fake organic variety of chemically tainted food while charging you the higher full organic valued price. From my view they will be in a position to undercut the honest price of sincere organic farmers. Folks, I fool you not, best learn to read a label. We are told the USDA Organic Label no longer carries an honest value and has destroyed tens-of-thousands of honest hours donated by thousands of honest organic farmers. This game is truly tearful. Surely as there is a Heaven and Hell, guess who will get a front row seat in the latter.
Product produced by the more common farmer of today, rather than traditional organic farmer, is likened to common table salt rather than natural whole sea-salt. Most of the nutrient values are missing. In effect all they’re doing is growing dead green vegetables that look pretty. Tell me, when was the last time you bought a tomato at your local grocery that tasted like a tomato. What, maybe 10-15 years ago? How about a peach or an apple?
The key is that most food produced today is missing the required minerals. Look at the numbers. A plant needs up to 28 or more minerals and trace elements to be healthy. They will in turn provide the whole nutrients and minerals you and our children need. You cannot replace this natural process effectively with a pretty vitamin pill and a run around the block. Yet the common or average non-organic farmer of today will only replace barely 4 of these required minerals. They are using very incomplete fertilizers that are derived from natural gas. This too is rearing its nasty head, with well-documented hazardous side effects, using nitrates. Let me state it again, nothing happens in our body properly without the required minerals - nothing. Do you recall the magnesium issue in the salt story above?
We keep a small raised-bed-garden that we know must have additional minerals added to it each and every year “without-fail”. We then further fertilize in the form of mulch combined with fish emulsion. Our favorite mineral supplement comes in the form of mineral clay known as Montmorillonite dust, called Azomite. However, it’s crucial to point out the most efficient means for your body to absorb essential minerals with other nutrients is from eating fresh whole vegetables. In other words, I’m saying you are better off giving your garden the minerals and vitamins before taking any yourself, and it’s cheaper too. On the other hand, our food is so dead today it would not be wise to not take a vitamin pill every day. We even go the extra step of providing minerals to our local egg producer who gives it to his chickens. Plus, we also put it into our pets drinking water every day as a detoxifier, with a tich of organic sea-salt.
We would be seriously re-miss or negligent not to mention that “finally” a new generation of multi-vitamin supplements are now available that are produced from whole natural foods. They are totally absorbent with 80 to 90% being fully utilized by your body. For the most part the majority of today’s traditional vitamin pills are manufactured from man-made or commercial chemicals (some are actually toxic), and are very hard-if not impossible to digest. You are lucky if your body will even utilize 10-12% of their stated values.
Heck, all these years I had thought I’d been buying a whole cow, and now I come to find out I was only getting one leg. That’s correct, most supplements are of questionable value from even the most reputable dealers. This new supplement/vitamin, sourced from greens, has indeed grabbed my attention, not only because of the absorption levels, but because of dramatically enhanced utilization values we get from these products.
The humor concerning this new vitamin type was the manufacturer was challenged in a court of law concerning their claims for the amount of nutrients utilized by the body from their product. Smile! They beat the pants off their court challenger. Talk about a backfire. Then, too, I found it interesting they were not challenged in court out of product jealously, but out of fear for what Stock Traders call full transparency.
This subject matter is well past the synthetic fertilizers, toxic pesticides and herbicides topic, which is a Frankenstein Monster unto itself, far more dangerous in the long run than nuclear fallout would be, in my view, after looking at the big picture. You and I both know these dangerous growing methods are fairly well understood by the majority, but never spoken of publicly. This old expression explains it best: “Out of sight out of mind.”
Another number to look at: the food found at your grocery today has about 60% less whole nutrients found in our food than it did several decades ago. I do not mean to insult your intelligence with this question, but do you really think our body needs any less minerals and nutrients today to stay health than we did 20 or 30 years ago? My-way, personally I have not bought a tomato from a grocery in over 5 years. Who wants to eat that trash and add insult to injury by having to pay for it too? That is nothing more than shooting yourself in the foot and saying it feels good.
More than opinion but rather a learned observation, the health or medical industry as a whole has practical knowledge about how to stay healthy on a scale of 1 to 10 that ranks just about a two. Another way to look at this growing problem is we should be paying doctors to keep us well, and not simply to treat us when we are ill. Laugh, but I have even suggested this concept to my family doctor, Just say the idea went over like a lead balloon. Maybe he was just thinking, “If I want your opinion, I’ll ask.”
Off subject a tich, but a close cousin, is the blatant example of a non-thinking generation of follow the herd health-experts who will tell you not to eat eggs, while hydrogenated margarine is ok to eat. Some will tell you high cholesterol levels will lead to a heart attack, but what they do not tell you while they are filling out a prescription for a statin drug for you, is that more than one half of the people who die with heart problems had so called normal cholesterol levels. Here are several more cool factors and an example of pure unadulterated stupidity. By the numbers I’ve recently learned that cholesterol reducing statin drugs only work for 3 out of 100 persons. Yet how many people are taking them? So how do you know if you’re one of the “lucky” ones?
Another lack of common sense factor about statin drugs, they actively remove a basic life giving element from your body, a coenzyme known as CO-Q-10. The cute part is your heart cannot work without it. Now I have to ask what is wrong with that picture? A key factor about CO-Q-10, since the 80’s in Japan you cannot leave a doctor’s office without a prescription for it if you’re having heart problems of any sort. Yet in this country it’s classified as a simple food supplement. I even had to introduce it to my cardiologist in 1996 as a must have vital nutrient, and she ranked in the top 10% in her area of specialty.
Furthermore, in the late-90’s I also suggested to her I needed C-reactive protein and homocysteine testing more than cholesterol testing, as that test was almost worthless when looking for future heart problems. She somewhat agreed at that time, while today it is a totally different story from her perspective. Smile. She now thinks my suggested tests are foremost for every one.
Informed insiders have known since the late 90’s that the major cause of blockages was inflammation of your arteries, and not high cholesterol. Heck, I even had to teach my family doctor’s lab-technician how to properly take a blood sample for homocysteine testing, and that only occurred after she screwed up the first test. We had a bit of a flap, you might say. The poor doctor was caught in the middle when I informed him in so many words his people did not know what they heck were doing, after his technician insisted she knew how to do the test. Just say my anger was noted.
There is one more thing I want you to store in the back of your brain. I have just recently noticed people, when told about the value or even the necessity of CO-Q-10, will react in a very nonchalant manner. Yet I then noticed when they are given a new prescription drug costing ten times more than CO-Q-10 many of these same people will jump on it like a bear in heat. Nowadays people will brag about how many different pills they are taking. Funnier still, they can pronounce the names of these drugs better than their doctor can.
A parting note on Statin Drugs, a very large number of them have been removed from the market place the last few years as a result of the number of deaths directly linked to them. Be careful, very careful, because the Pharma-Boyz are now starting rumors and suggesting it can also be used for other health issues like Alzheimer’s. That has got to be the joke of the century. You see, Statin drugs are famous for actually impairing brain function. That’s right, they make you a bit dumber, if you’re dumb enough to be taking them. Past all the funnies, let’s-bottom line it. Statins are proven Carcinogens.
An all-time favorite for the heart is plain old natural Hawthorne berry tea; a little gift from The Almighty that has been around for a few thousand years. It’s quite popular, and a major recommendation from the medical community in Europe for persons with heart problems. This little gift from God works so well in fact that if you’re taking Digitalis you can cut back to one half of the dosage, if one is also drinks Hawthorne berry tea daily. I personally refer to this little berry as an old fashion heart tonic, which really works. A little tale of two drugs: this berry preserved my life once (or-my doctors peace of mind) when their prescription blood pressure drugs did not work for me after surgery, while my blood pressure was running around the block at 210. I took charge and drank two cups of Hawthorne tea, which took it back to 160 in 45 minutes. Smile, I sure did. Recently a similar situation occurred with a friend of mine who drank the tea and experienced the same results as I did. Folks, as always, the numbers talk and bull walks.
By 2005 for the most part, I could see that a new generational upgrade was available that originated from the traditional ancient fermented side-dish “Natto”, called Nattokinase, would forever encourage natural healing and dissolve blood clots in vessels (fibrin-clots) throughout the entire body-from head to toe. This new Nattokinase product, NSK-SD, was discovered in the 80’s, then later patented by Dr. H. Sumi of Japan. Advanced and ongoing research has been enhanced in the U.S. by Dr. R. Holsworth and Patrick Buehl.
Basically it is a fibrinolytic enzyme that literally eats away plaque-calcium-fat deposits in blood vessels throughout your entire body (includes the brain as well) without any known toxic side-effect. My personal call is this new product works best with vitamin K-2 (not vit K1), the MK-7 variety (sourced from Natto), and omega-3 or DHEA, vitamin D-3, and magnesium chloride. Nonetheless, by Dec 2005 we still found prices a bit excessive in the US as all development costs had already been absorbed by the Japanese. We have now located a US formulator we felt met our traditional standards. A newer item that works on the same concept as Nattokinase is another fibrinolytic enzyme product that’s said to be stronger yet is now on the drawing board that’s called “Lumbrokinase”.
The key point here that has my hot-button is they are both concentrates derived from whole natural nutrients called “Nutraceuticals”, alternatives that actually work very well and frequently better as they are not made from synthetic toxic pharmaceutical or industrial compounds that always have long range deadly side-effects, like the kind that is often prescribed today by our traditional American medical sources. Time tells all of course, but I personally feel these new natural Natto-NSK SD and K2 discoveries are gifts from The Almighty.
Nonetheless these new NSK-SD product, Vit K2 & Vit D3, joined with Magnesium Chloride, & DHEA, are demonstrating the ability to make IV-Chelation therapy obsolete for Heart-CVD patients. This is just my personal-call of, course, but time will tell. These new but simple Nutraceutical whole supplement products have been available for several years, yet I just found out about them. Sometimes I’m slow. I am also saying for the record, these natural by-products coupled with Nattokinase will give “All” drug or pharmaceutical companies a run for their money for the next 30 years. The side-humor is these new products are not only all natural and have no known toxic side-effects, but foremost, they should only cost us a 10th of what traditional toxic medical prescription drug companies charge. Do you wonder why this story is not on the front page of every news-media source, nation wide?
It’s my personal call that 3-5,000 units of Vit D3, real sun shine, Allicin-garlic, transdermal magnesium chloride, Nattokinase-NSK SD, Vit K2-MK7, Serrapeptase, chromium-GTF, and DHEA taken daily while eating lacto-fermented veggies and dark green vegetables will literally sweep your arteries clean of calcium and sludge, and then retard excessive inflammation, while inhibiting the formation of cancer. Folks, these are the two major causes of death today. Why? Because of the total spoon-fed misinformation line about how great the demonic cooking oils, synthesized food items, and statin drugs were for the last 40 years. Smile folks, there was a time I also got suckered into believing all the hype, until me and my dog Missy microwaved our TV and started to use our own mind and eyes.
Do you want a layman’s realistic view of statin drugs? After looking at the growing numbers the way any stock trader would, it has to be the “smoothest scam” or greatest 20 billion dollars a year “medical fraud” known to man, even more so than the old classics like: “the check is in the mail” or “yes, I will always love you”. Heck, this even makes the Enron fraud look like a kindergarten game. You do not have to be a bureaucrat, a wanta-be-politician, a doctor, even a pathologist, or what ever you want to call an expert nowadays to see the numbers that easily state we are being “conned”. And furthermore, the FDA and AMA drug claims are pure-nonsensical tripe, if not illicit distortions. At one time I thought no one could teach the Wall Street Boyz any new tricks. Guess what? They’ve got a silent partner.
Few understand that cholesterol levels are always higher when the body is healing something, or as you age, like just after heart surgery. But that is when they want to load you up with toxic statins, and fail to give you replacement CO-Q-10, which the statin drugs block. A fun way to have a heart attack is to just remove your essential energy molecules, CO-Q-10, from your body’s cells. I’m also saying it’s essential for your body to have more cholesterol and CO-Q-10 when you’re healing the heart. If you’re still laughing then munch on this. In the 1950’s before all the heart attack/statin drug rage we current see, the average cholesterol of a healthy person was about 240 plus. Hey folks, as always, it’s your call. My bold observations today are that no one really knows what a person’s cholesterol level should be.
Now let me make your day, and before you shoot your horse. To regulate your cholesterol HDL and LDL levels to a proper or safe-ratio simply take a daily supplement, sourced from natural compounds, called chromium“GTF”. We have empirical proof that when your body’s chromium levels seriously decline your cholesterol LDL levels go up. But when the proper variety of chromium ”GTF” is taken your body easily pushes the bad LDL levels back down to a safe ratio. It sounds too easy, but it’s true and we have known this since the 1970’s.
The major cause of chromium deficiency is bleached refined flour, which removes it. And we have known since the 1915’s that this deficiency is the major contributor for Type II diabetes development, which is starting to appear in very young children. This is an outstanding example of an accident waiting to happen. That’s correct, this is an absolute must have trace-micro-nutrient.
Furthermore, it’s well known that when mature persons reduce excessive iron levels it, too, helps control cholesterol levels. While at the same time, iron reduction will slow oxidative damage to our blood vessels, which as you know is the foundation of blockages.
However, there is a bear trap in the chromium arena. Your government’s own patented synthetic chromium-Picolinate pill, or the nicotinate and chloride forms, will not do this as effectively as the natural “GTF” variety will. Even beyond the government’s patent rights and sales of ½ billions dollars per year, Picolinate was also found to be a “mutagen”. That’s right. Independent, not government, researchers are saying this form can cause DNA-mutations, plus sterility. There has been much debate on the effects chromium-Picolinate has with diabetics. Sorry to say in most cases it’s had little benefit. I’m not nagging, but remember, you gotta read the labels. I find a great food source for natural chromium is homemade beer, and fish.
I do know that in time, out of the cage thinking medical personnel will understand a proper level will be different with each individual, rather than grouped together by age or sex, and in all probability will be much higher than many today suspect. If we survive Al Gore & his Global Warming and the current snow storms, do you want to bet the statin drug dealers by the year 2040 will still be saying it should be around 180, even though independent research say’s it should be about 230-260.
And when will they finally admit that cholesterol is not the main cause of heart and artery problems, but rather it’s rogue calcium deposits, of which about 53% were found to be the major compounds discovered in artery blockages. Now here is the kicker. Dr. Holsworth tells me new research from Japan has demonstrated two basic but essential vitamins can easily correct the rogue calcium problem by taking 1000mcg of vitamin K2 (the MK7 form that’s sourced from natural Natto cultivated in Japan) and 5000 units of vitamin D3 (a hormone-like element). (Definitely not the synthetic, useless, Vit D2, a variety that’s commonly used in milk or cheese as a food supplement.) These vitamins simply redirect the calcium from our vessels and put it back into our bones.
Then too we know that magnesium plays a big part here, regulating calcium, if there are sufficient amounts at the cellular level, rather than at the blood level. The magnesium blood test can tell you nothing about the real picture in the cells. Amazing? Yes, but trust me, overall this data is state of the art. There is a surprising but welcome bonus here. When taking these non-toxic forms of vitamin D3 and magnesium chloride for heart problems, emerging independent research and the numbers strongly suggest these natural elements may well be major factors that inhibit the formation of many forms of the more well-known cancers. These cancers have grown to such a number they are considered by many to be completely out of control.
There is another emerging nightmare that will not make your day, but it sure has to make your year. The FDA has just approved (August 2006) the use of a witches-brew of 6 “live nano-viruses”, known as bacteriophages, to be used as a food additive that will be sprayed on ready to eat foods like luncheon meat, deli-meats, hotdogs, sausages, sliced ham and turkey, and children’s snack-packs - as a safe food preservative. This same company, Intralytix, now has a newer live virus product on the drawing board that will be used on ground beef. The developer of this virus product has since licensed it to a multinational company who will be marketing it world wide.
It will take a while for the whole story of side-effects to leak out, but they will come. We already know it will produce toxicants called endotoxins, that our body’s immune system is highly reactive to, and they will destroy the healthy essential probiotics in our lower gut. They will provoke allergies and asthma, while the presence of endotoxins can also start colon cancer. Even scarier, this new “live virus” food preservative may not be required to be listed on food labels. Here is the humor; the statin drug boyz will love this new toxic virus toy. You see, it will also raise your cholesterol level. I thought you’d like that. I do not see us having any other choice than to start roasting a whole turkey, chicken, or ham and slicing it for our lunch meat and snacks.
I caution you; because little if any real meaningful testing of these viruses to be used as a food preservative has been conducted on humans. Absolutely utterly” “no-one” has any idea what long-term effects it will have on us and our children. On the other hand, it will be your family’s’ personal choice to accept this process, or not.
My take is that eventually this experimental brew of live viruses they will use on food will be in the same category as the mercury which is used as a preservative in vaccinations like flu shots. Here is my observation for your funny bone: because mercury is so deadly, it’s not allowed to be used in your food as a preservative, but it’s OK to use it as a preservative in a shot given to your baby, granny, or a little puppy, Oh, come-on, that’s utter-BS, and you can dang-sure quote me.
Speaking of shots for kids, public schools now require children to receive up to 28 different ones, unless you have requested an exemption--did you? Want a little more humor? The Federal Government actually pays public schools more than a thousand dollars for each child that will take vaccinations. Now smile a tich, and tell me whose interest is taking the priority here. Why has mankind not died off without all these vaccinations before now? I think we still have a bit more room for humor. There are over 850 different undeniable flu strains, yet a flu shot can only protect you against three or less. And by the time they know which strain is causing all the illness during the flu season they do not have time to make a new shot for that one strain. In the mean time all you got for your troubles is another load of mercury.
Want to know why they use mercury as a preservative in vaccinations? That’s easy, they use it because it “kills”, and its very good at killing. In fact it’s one of the best and deadliest killers known to man. Ever wonder what your body feels when you give it a little mercury? Just ask your nervous system or brain and they will tell you. Yes, it’s widely acknowledged that mercury causes brain damage. Last but not least, mercury will accumulate in your body with each shot, as it is almost impossible to eliminate without chelation therapy. I fooled you. I bet you thought I was going to talk about the 50% Mercury content of tooth fillings used by American dentists. That is against the law to be used in the majority of countries of Europe. Poor as the Russians were, they had the good common sense to use steel instead of mercury.
These fillings are 30 parts silver, and 52% is deadly mercury. And it leaks deadly mercury vapors into the mouth, then goes into your brain and other organs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and for as long as you have them. What 5 years, 20 years, 40 years?. Remember, mercury is the second most deadly metal known to man, even more deadly than lead. Look at the fun side. Would you put lead in your mouth, or in a vaccination shot for a child or a puppy? Now the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the EPA say no, but the FDA and American Dental Association, and your dentist, say it's OK. I have a simple question. Has medical stupidity finally gone to seed. We just heard that our leader says he will veto any bill that prohibits the use of mercury in vaccinations. Something is seriously wrong here.
Somehow in my old country way I just can not see the numbers fitting with the risk of mercury poisoning. I’ll just stick to my lacto-fermented pickles, beets and carrots, natural whole bread and sea-salt, while others dance with the flu shots, tooth fillings of mercury, and cholesterol and statin drugs.
My-way; (let me interject here and lay an advancing thought on the table) they are not leaving us much of a choice. Just to survive, I strongly suggest we need to start learning to cook from scratch just as our grandparents did at the turn of the 1900’s. More and more homemade bread bakers have already come to this realization. I frequently notice many families are now learning to make homemade soups and stocks from scratch too. It is a changing world and we must change with it, doing what is in our best interest. With the contracting economy, dying housing market, rapidly growing inflation and unemployment, coupled with the death of the dollar, value dropping noticeably world-wide, learning to cook from scratch for health and survival sake may not be such a bad idea. I suggest you take it all in stride. Don’t get your blood pressure up, but do use wisdom as your guide.
I need to go a bit-deeper once more and touch a little more on the subject of “High Fructose corn syrup”, which is neither sugar nor corn syrup in the traditional sense. Personally, I feel strongly parents with young children should know it’s one of the sneakiest new fat-making, diabetes-causing Gremlins around today. So I need to highlight a few factors and amplify some hidden dangers. First of all, it’s a man-made chemical concoction that has only 15% corn starch. In others words, it’s not even food at all. It’s an 85% chemical compound. Did I tell you that the corn they use to make it is also genetically-modified?
We know already if a label says reduced sugar or “sugar-free” the food will have little or no sugar added. But it will be loaded with one of the synthetic toxic sweeteners like NutraSweet, or Splenda. I guess that label is OK unless you were actually shopping for a sour apple pie or sour chewing gum or juice, hahaha.
Here is my take on High Fructose corn syrup, HFCS. While we were all sleeping for the last ten to twenty years they have been slowly adding this innocent looking deadly chemical compound to just about everything under the sun, from ketchup to jelly, even hotdogs. The slick part is food manufacturers have just about gotten away with it. More surprises, it can even be found on health food labels including some yogurts. Easy test: the next time you are at a grocery store look at a few labels. You’ll be in for a rude awakening. After a brief label search you will see no one or anything is safe from this sweet Gremlin any longer, and it multiplies daily.
Now to the real problem for us,but why food manufactures love it, (past its remarkable low cost to use). You see GMO based “High Fructose corn syrup” corrupts the nerves that tell your brain you’re full. This product can leave you feeling hungry even after you’re finished eating. No I ‘m not crazy. The stuff can actually make you feel hungry, even if you’re not. Now add a little habit-forming fattening MSG to it. Please trust me, they do add MSG and always will-as long as the FDA allows them to do it. If there is any humor in this sick picture this would be it: Las Vegas would love a gambling chip that did this very same thing, one that makes you want to keep gambling even when you’re losing and almost broke and only have a little food money left.
The event that woke me up to this creeping danger was that Ben and Jerry’s, after the original owners sold out, has now started sweetening their ice cream with this smiling deadly Gremlin sugar. I have to ask, is there no longer anything left that’s sacred in the food arena? What the heck, I always wanted to learn how to make ice cream any way, hahaha, without Gremlins.
Now for the gut-kicker. ARE YOU READY? in fact you had best set down for this one. On 27 October, 2006, the “American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases”, AASLD, announced that Dr. Ina Bergheim, from the University of Hohenheim, and her associates completed a released project that showed “High Fructose corn syrup” can-has-does and always will cause “Liver damage”! (Folks, as I have seriously suggested--have you looked at your food labels lately?)
There is an additional item that was revealed, which should be of striking-interest to young families and the elderly. This same research project also showed that when a person is drinking soda-pop with meals they have less of a desire for and will eat less natural food but have higher calorie intake and more weight gain. “Hey, Mom, do I have to eat the rest of these carrots?”
The following is an additional published supporting quote: Dr. Adrian Di Bisceglie, chair of the public policy committee for AASLD and professor of internal medicine at St. Louis University, noted that the epidemic of obesity has been partly to blame for the increasing prevalence of liver disease in the US. He pointed out that consumption of high fructose corn syrup, in foods such as soft drinks, has sky-rocketed over the last decade. "This study suggests that liver disease is not just a consequence of obesity or fat consumption," but that this kind of sugar is also a culprit.
Dear friends, I have one small suggestion. The next time you put High Fructose corn syrup ketchup on your fries, drink a can of Coke or Pepsi (etc.) with your dinner, eat a honey-bun, or have a little ice cream like the top end gourmet brand Ben & Jerry’s, just be aware that you and your young ones will be cooking your “LIVER” - just like you do when you take prescription drugs. Humor or not: how quickly will the above emerging research report hit the main-stream news media? Right, when frogs fly. Historically will it be quietly buried? (Can’t you just imagine what they are putting in the cheap brands of ice cream?) NOTE: Some health experts consider 90% of all Fructose sweeteners in any form may be toxic.
Speaking of coffee, I just cannot resist injecting this bit of old wisdom versus new technology. Long ago it was known when a person was suffering a stroke if they quickly drank 2 cups of freshly brewed Irish-Whiskey coffee one would only suffer 50% of the brain damage that is frequently experienced today. Smile, they are now looking for a modern, patentable medicinal whisky version.
Some like the FDA, USDA, EPA or a few mercury and GMO-loving fried-chicken-eating, flu-shot-taking neighbors might suggest, “so what – a little shark bite is not as bad as a big shark bite.” Right, a small-bit of toxin won’t hurt you. If you fall for that line I have a singing frog I want to talk to you about.
Food for thought, something bothers me, if food has been used for thousands of years as a weapon and a means to control people, then why today have food health factors or values become such an inconsequential concern by the masses, and even health experts? Yes, oil can control the country, but food will always control the people. “My-way, the further I look into the past the better I can see into the future”
There is one more Frankenstein safety factor emerging referred to as “Nanoparticles” that will rival or even surpass genetically modified-GMO foods for first place. Folks there is absolutely no oversight or review for this engineered food additive by the FDA or USDA, yet it is already in the US market place, and can be found in food and packing products. It is now found in both canola and soybean oil. Then there’s a new nano-bread being made, and several chocolate drinks.
Now learn true concern. On 18 Oct. 2006, a report was published in the scientific journal “Pathology” where Dr. Hildegarde Staninger, an industrial toxicologist & MD, has established a direct scientific link between Nanoparticles and the new dreaded disease called “Morgellons”. No one knows where this disease came from or how to cure or even contain it. The most common symptom is where people literally have fibers crawling under their skin, and no medical doctor in the country knows what can be done to help the victims. Talk about man’s cruelty to man. There have been hundreds of reports that many doctors have told these Morgellon victims with “bleeding lesions”, with fibers sticking out of their skin, that it was just their imagination and they needed a psychogenic drug. And when a spouse protested they were offered the same drug. Do you smell a skunk?
All the Big Boyz like Heinz, Nestle, Hershey, Kraft and many others are into nanotechnology hook-line-and sinker, spending hundreds of millions of dollar for research and development for bio-nanotechnology applications. It would take a whole book by itself just to cover the potential dangers both real and imaginary. I will take a pass on it and be comforted with the fact I have made you aware, so you will need to do your own due-diligence. My take is you may well seek a ticket to the moon for your next vacation after doing your own research on these new food “Nanoparticles”. I sincerely wish you and yours well.
Folks, are we going blind, or is something’s seriously wrong with the big picture concerning the food and health industry? Maybe we have just turned into mindless sheeple following the manipulated TV herd. My straightforward call is, after consuming a lot of improper or trashy food and oils, and after surviving open heart surgery and a carotid artery operation a year later, (that’s right, I’ve been there and done it all) I now find without debate you have God’s way, then you have man’s way. Take your rosy-shaded sunglasses off and let me be the first to bottom line it for you. It’s my considered opinion and learned observation that our bodies will not and cannot perform well when given any synthetic chemical compounds or any partial or manipulated foods.
Believe me, I’m not suggesting you become a health food nut, or start a food health movement, even join the Tree-Hugging crowd. Far, far from it. But rather become an informed consumer who wants a bit of decent health, coupled with longevity of life. Who in the world wants to spend their later years in a degenerative brain-dead state, taking more pills than food? Yet nowadays millions do. If your knowledge about food quality and health comes only from TV-Sheeple ads, or a misinformed medical experts, and the main stream news media you have a serious problem. Or as I like to say, you’re an accident waiting to happen. You must seek out alternative data to survive in today’s world. There is no one who will look after your inteersts unless you individually look after yourself, and your family’s own food quality and health safety. Look at the numbers. They are flat-out saying only one thing: “there is no big brother government in the sky that is going to look-out after your safety.” You and I are on our own.
Please understand the true simplicity of “health”. When you eat in a healthy manner, feeding your body what it really needs, you are also healing and harmonizing it at the same time. But, if you fail to eat what’s healthy you are degrading it. See how simple it all is, not a hard call to see.
Hay what more is there to say? Smile, it’s your call. Since the time of Noah, it would be wise to understand, be it your grocery store, the smiling politician, the plumber, the majority of food manufacturers, the appliance makers, to the car makers, the insurance salesmen, your stock broker, and the TV hype, always remember: “When ever- If ever - is their interest in your best interest?” Right, when Frogs Fly.

A Recall Urged...However, while Bristol-Myers Squibb will stop making and selling the drug, currently available stocks will "not be recalled".

* Vioxx. The king of withdrawn drugs and well documented in previous chapters for causing 60,000 fatal heart attacks and strokes and as many as 160,000 heart attacks and strokes all by itself.
* Bextra Similar drug to Vioxx, withdrawn for similar reasons.
* Rezulin: Given fast-track approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Rezulin was linked to 63 confirmed deaths and probably hundreds more. "We have real trouble," a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) physician wrote in 1997, just a few months after Rezulin's approval. The drug wasn't taken off the market until 2000.
* Baycol (made by Bayer AG) - a cholesterol-lowering drug taken by 700,000 Americans - was pulled off the market on Wednesday, August 8th. It had been linked to 31 U.S. deaths. At least nine more fatalities abroad are known.
* Lotronex: Against concerns of one of its own officers, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Lotronex in February 2000. By the time it was withdrawn 9 months later, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had received reports of 93 hospitalizations, multiple emergency bowel surgeries, and 5 deaths.
* Propulsid: A top-selling drug for many years, this drug was linked to hundreds of cases of heart arrhythmias and over 100 deaths.
* Redux: Taken by millions of people for weight loss after its approval in April 1996, Redux was soon linked to heart valve damage and a disabling, often lethal pulmonary disorder. Taken off the market in September 1997.
* Pondimin: A component of Fen-Phen, the diet fad drug. Approved in 1973, Pondimin's link to heart valve damage and a lethal pulmonary disorder wasn't recognized until shortly before its withdrawal in 1997. Part of this missing story was the Japanese drug manufacture was caught using an unauthorized strain they were not supposed to be using. The original natural Herb never caused this problem.
* Duract: This painkiller was taken off the market when it was linked to severe, sometimes fatal liver failure.
* Seldane: America's and the world's top-selling antihistamine for a decade, it took the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 5 years to recognize that Seldane was causing cardiac arrhythmias, blackouts, hospitalizations, and deaths, and another 8 years to take it off the market.
* Hismanal: Approved in 1988 and soon known to cause cardiac arrhythmias, the drug was finally taken off the market in 1999.
* Posicor: Used to treat hypertension, the drug was linked to life-threatening drug interactions and more than 100 deaths.
* Raxar: Linked to cardiac toxicities and deaths.
* Cylert-The FDA received 13 reports of pemoline-associated hepatic failure leading to liver transplantation or death, representing an incidence rate 10 to 25 times greater than that of the general population.
* Palladone Withdrawn due to a high risk of accidental overdose when administered with alcohol.

Folks, the following article is a sample of the contrived drug picture, as I said none are safe and none ever will be. But the money is good; many drugs earn their Manufactures 2000 to 4000 percent profit above cost.

The arthritis drug that Merck has developed to compete with Celebrex may be as risky for the heart as Vioxx, writes Food and Drug Administration whistle-blower David Graham in an editorial posted online Tuesday by a medical journal.
In considering whether Arcoxia should be approved, "the FDA, academia, and the medical research enterprise are once again faced with the opportunity to forsake common sense by willfully accepting misdirection and disinformation presented in the guise of science," Graham writes on the Journal of the American Medical Association's website.
An editor's note says the FDA allowed Graham to write the editorial as a private citizen, not as an agency employee. The editorial and the two studies it accompanies will run in the Oct. 4 JAMA, but they were posted online early "because of the public health implications,"
A JAMA press release says. Graham, a physician in the FDA's Office of Drug Safety, made news nearly two years ago when he told a Senate panel that the agency was "virtually defenseless" in preventing a "tragedy and profound regulatory failure" such as Vioxx.
Concerns for cardiovascular safety had spurred Merck to stop selling Vioxx in September 2004.Like Vioxx and Celebrex, Arcoxia is a so-called COX-2 inhibitor. Their selling point has been a lower risk of bleeding stomach ulcers and other serious digestive tract complications than other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs, such as ibuprofens. A month after Vioxx was taken off the market; the FDA issued an "approvable letter" for Arcoxia, its successor, asking for more data on safety and effectiveness. The FDA still has not made a final decision on Arcoxia, which is sold in 62 countries.
In an August paper in the American Heart Journal, Merck scientists reported that preliminary analyses of clinical trial data showed that the rate of cardiovascular "events," such as heart attacks, was similar between Arcoxia and diclofenac, an older arthritis drug.
But one article posted online by JAMA raises serious questions about the cardiovascular safety of diclofenac, which, in turn, raise questions about the safety of Arcoxia. Researchers pooled the results of 23 studies in which people decided whether to take an NSAID. They found that diclofenac raised cardiovascular risk as much as lower-dose Vioxx. Only higher-dose Vioxx was riskier.
Co-author David Henry, a clinical pharmacologist at the University of Newcastle in Australia, says he has switched patients from diclofenac to naproxen, which, in his study and others, appears to be the only NSAID that doesn't raise cardiovascular risk. "It causes gastrointestinal bleeding, no question," he says. "But I'd rather have a gastrointestinal bleed than a heart attack. “For that reason, says Wake Forest University medical epidemiologist Curt Furberg, the FDA should pull diclofenac off the market and remove the "black box" warning about cardiovascular risk, which the FDA ordered on all NSAIDs in April 2005, from naproxen's label.
"The take-home message is stay away from diclofenac, which is basically another way of saying that Arcoxia is harmful," says Furberg, who sits on the FDA's Drug Safety and Risk Management Advisory Committee. In a statement, Merck said the results of the Arcoxia/diclofenac comparison "are consistent with FDA's April 2005 memo stating that long-term clinical trials have not shown a difference in cardiovascular safety" between COX-2s and other NSAIDs, "with naproxen as a possible exception.” END……………

For all the dire health problems associated with Aspartame -- the worst of them being cancer -- the original "anything-but-sugar" substitute may have an ideal purpose to exist, not as a food additive, but as an ant poison
Already aware of Aspartame’s origins as a toxic chemical, a health-conscious consumer with an ant problem emptied one packet of aspartame in the corner of each of her bathrooms two years ago. The "sweet" solution worked brilliantly, as she's seen no signs of carpenter ants crawling around for the past year.
Aspartame may be just the thing for getting rid of fire ants (impervious to many poisons) too, although this solution takes a bit more effort. Initially, fire ants ignored their aspartame treat until a light rain moistened it. After the rain, however, the fire ants came back with a vengeance, taking the aspartame back to the mound by the hundreds. Within two days, any evidence that fire ants existed at all, save for an empty mound, vanished.
No mystery Aspartame works like a pesticide, as the asparctic acid contained in this toxic product is a well-documented excitotoxin that causes specific brain cells to become excessively excited to the point they quickly die, just as both kinds of ants did.
Makes you wonder if Aspartame is a far safer, better alternative to getting rid of lawn and home pests than the average toxic pesticides found at your neighborhood hardware store...END…………………………………………………………………………

New research originating from New York Medical Collage says daily Aspirin therapy for high-risk Cardiac patients may fail 40% of the time. Furthermore, “Aspirin-resistance” was found among 26% of high-risk cardiac patients under age 60, rising to 45% of patients over age 60. The report further states Red Wine works better than Aspirin.
My-way, since my heart surgery instead of using aspirin I have used a common herb known as “Ginkgo Biloba” that is most popular in the Far-East for heart patients. or for those seeking to prevent heart problems. While I was researching the aspirin therapy issue I found more than ten thousand people die each year in this country from aspirin poisoning. I was shocked to discover the fact that 900 million Chinese safely take the herb Ginkgo as a blood thinner with out being poisoned. The side ways humor is it’s cheaper too. As I said “I don’t do drugs.” However, I do keep aspirin around in they event of an emergency, which I would take with a capsule of cayenne pepper that doubles aspirin’s effectiveness in the event of a heart attack. Then too, in the event of a stroke I will personally take the Irish-Whisky coffee remedy on my way to the hospital. I might even throw in a splash of Red (Cayenne Pepper) with the coffee.
Folks as you can see from the above list and articles the growing numbers are telling all. In parting I do not think it would be a wise investment to bet against my-way; the numbers are on my side.
