The following Scriptures provide insights into the understanding of what YAHWEH's Word says about Satan, also know as The Devil, that old Serpent, etc.. Satan is identified as the adversary of those who believe in YAHWEH. He is the one who seeks to tempt you into not believing in YAHWEH or His Son, YAHUSHUA. The Messiah. He will try everything in his power to deceive you. he is known as a "liar, and the father of lies". (John 8.44) If there's any deception in your life, he is the source of it. In direct contrast, YAHWEH is identified as The God of Truth. YAHUSHUA is identified as The Truth.

Titles By Which Satan Is Known:
Abaddon/Appolyon/Angel of the Bottomless Pit
Revelation 9.11: And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon (a destroying angel), but in the Greek tongue has his name, Apollyon (destroyer).
Accuser
Revelation 12.10: And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God (YAHWEH), and the power of His Messiah (YAHUSHUA): for the accuser of our brothers is cast down, who accused them before our God (YAHWEH) day and night.
Adversary
1 Peter 5.8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary The Devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 whom you are to resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brothers that are in the world.
Belial
2 Corinthians 6.15: And what concord has The Messiah with Belial (means worthlessness; is a title of Satan)? or what part has he that believes with an infidel (a non-believer)?
Beelzebub, The Prince of the Devils
Matthew 12.24: But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow does not cast out devils except by Beelzebub (the dung god), the prince of the devils.

He Sinned Against YAHWEH:
2 Peter 2.4: For if YAHWEH spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
1 John 3.8: He that commits sin is of The Devil; for The Devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of YAHWEH was manifested, that He might destroy the works of The Devil.

He Was Cast Out Of Heaven:

He Was Cast Down to Hell:

Jude 6: And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Psalms 91.11: For He shall give His angels charge over You, to keep You in all Your ways. 12 They shall bear You up in their hands, lest You dash Your foot against a stone.
Deuteronomy 6.16: You shall not tempt YAHWEH, your Elohim (God), as you tempted Him in Massah.

Revelation 16.14: For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, who go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of YAHWEH, The Almighty.

2 Corinthians 11.13: For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of The Messiah. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
The Wicked Are Children of The Devil:
Matthew 13.38 : The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 the enemy that sowed them is The Devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of Man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Acts 13.10: And said, Oh full of all subtlety and all mischief, you child of The Devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of YAHWEH?
1 John 3.10: In this the children of YAHWEH are manifest, and the children of The Devil: whoever does not do righteousness is not of YAHWEH, neither he that loves not his brother.

Matthew 9.32: As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a dumb man possessed with a devil. 33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb man spoke: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. 34 But the Pharisees said, He casts out devils through the prince of the devils.
Matthew 12.19: Then was brought to Him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
Luke 22.3 - Then Satan entered into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him unto them. 5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. 6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray Him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
Acts 5.3: But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to The Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own power? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied unto men, but unto YAHWEH. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost. And great fear came on all them that heard these things.
Acts 8.7: For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.

The Wicked Are Deceived By Him:
1 Samuel 16.14: But The Spirit of YAHWEH departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from YAHWEH troubled him.
1 Kings 22.21: And there came forth a spirit, and stood before YAHWEH, and said, I will persuade him. 22 And YAHWEH said unto him, How? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And He said, You shall persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
2 Timothy 2.24: And the servant of YAHWEH must not strive; but be gentle to all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if Yahweh perhaps will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of The Devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Revelation 20.7: And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Job 1.6: Now there was a day when the sons of YAHWEH came to present themselves before YAHWEH, and Satan came also among them. 7 And YAHWEH said unto Satan, From where do you come? Then Satan answered YAHWEH, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 8 And YAHWEH said unto Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears YAHWEH, and hates evil? 9 Then Satan answered YAHWEH and said, Does Job fear YAHWEH for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. 11 But put forth Your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will curse You to Your face. 12 And YAHWEH said unto Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your power; only upon himself put not forth your hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of YAHWEH.
Job 2.1: Again there was a day when the sons of YAHWEH came to present themselves before YAHWEH, and Satan came also among them to present himself before YAHWEH. 2 And YAHWEH said to Satan, From where have you come? And Satan answered YAHWEH and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 3 And YAHWEH said unto Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears YAHWEH, and hates evil, and still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved Me against him to destroy him without cause. 4 And Satan answered YAHWEH, and said, Skin for skin, indeed all that a man has will he give for his life. 5 But put forth Your hand now,and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse You to Your face. 6 And Yahweh said to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand, but save his life. 7 So Satan went forth from the presence of Yahweh and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
Luke 8.29: (For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For often it had caught him, and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters. And he broke the bands, and was driven by The Devil into the wilderness.) 30 And YAHUSHUA asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, "Legion.", because many devils had entered into him.
Luke 9.39: And, behold, a spirit takes him, and he suddenly cries out. And it tears him that he foams again, and bruising him it hardly departs from him. 40 And I begged Your disciples to cast him out, and they could not. 41 And YAHUSHUA, answering said, Oh faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and suffer you? Bring your son here. 42 And as he was yet coming, the devil threw him down, and tore him. And YAHUSHUA rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.
2 Corinthians 11.3: But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in The Messiah.

James 4.7: Submit yourselves therefore to YAHWEH. Resist The Devil, and he will flee from you.

Mark 16.17: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

You can receive the gift of eternal life (immortality) in His presence. There, you will experience love, joy, peace, and a future that is available nowhere else. If you're truly serious about doing this all you need to do is tell YAHWEH, in whatever manner seems appropriate, that you are very serious about this, and then show it by changing the way you live.

Please do not be deceived. Satan is very real. YAHWEH's Word tells us this truth plainly. If you'll take the time to review the passages cited above you will come to a better understanding of just how real he is. Satan's whole purpose is to draw you away from YAHWEH and His Son, YAHUSHUA, The Messiah. If you have not completely surrendered your life to YAHWEH, through His Son YAHUSHUA, then you are living under the influence of Satan, The Devil.
